Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca shared about the successful organ transplantation performed at Bilkent City Hospital. Minister Koca stated: "Organ donation saved a mother's life and her newborn baby from growing up as an orphan. The life of Eda, whose liver failed due to pregnancy poisoning and who gave birth to her baby by cesarean section at 34 weeks, changed with a family's decision to donate the liver of their brain-dead patient. We would like to congratulate the team racing against time during the organ transplantation at Bilkent City Hospital. We cannot thank the family enough for making the decision to donate.”
