Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu visited Karaman on Friday, September 13, 2024, to meet with provincial authorities and conduct on-site inspections of health facilities. Prof. Memişoğlu attended the Provincial Assessment Meeting and received information about health investments and health services in the province. Thereafter, he visited Karaman Training and Research Hospital and Healthy Life Center. Emphasizing that they aimed to make Karaman a better place in the field of health, Prof. Memişoğlu stated: “Healthy Life Centers and Family Health Centers have very important roles in terms of health services. Cancer Screening Centers (KETEM) provide free cancer screenings for our patients over the age of 40, and we will work to develop them even more. This is an exemplary place. In addition, the second and tertiary level health facilities function very well, and they provide exemplary services to the world.”
