Hatay Training and Research Hospital and İskenderun State Hospital were opened by President Erdoğan. Hatay Training and Research Hospital has a bed capacity of 550, including 39 dialysis beds and 68 emergency beds. The Hospital will provide service with a land area of 129 thousand square meters, a closed area of 65 thousand 350 square meters and a helipad.” The hospital has 12 operating rooms, 76 outpatient clinics, 2 angiography, 2 MRI and 13 x-ray devices. The hospital offers many specialized services, including dialysis unit, burn center, fully-fledged laboratory, physical therapy and rehabilitation unit, angiography, oncology unit, stroke and heart center. On the other hand, Iskenderun state Hospital has a bed capacity of 200, including 31 intensive care beds. Iskenderun State Hospital, which has a land area of 30 thousand square meters and a closed area of 17 thousand square meters, will serve the district with 7 operating rooms and 42 polyclinics.
