The widespread use of modern technologies in the health sector increases susceptibility to the risks of these technologies. Therefore, it is necessary to take measures to secure electronic health records of individuals. The Ministry of Health is aware of the fact that it must protect all its IT systems and take all necessary actions in keeping with the main policy framework on data security by using all technical, administrative and legal means in order to protect and secure personal data and information. Thus, the Ministry aims to manage all manual and electronic data which constitute the basis for the Data Security concept in accordance with the principles of confidentiality, integrity and accessibility by using necessary risk methods in order to maximize the security of all information which are generated across the Ministry organization. In doing so, the Ministry acts in line with its vision and mission and the relevant legislation.
