Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu went to Osmaniye after his visit to Hatay on Friday, 23 August 2024. Memişoğlu visited the Samiye Bahçeli Community Mental Health Center, attended a comprehensive Provincial Assessment Meeting, and received information about healthcare investments and healthcare services in the province. Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu made a press statement at the Osmaniye Governorship, and said, “We are in Osmaniye, which unfortunately experienced the earthquake on February 6 but also supported the surrounding provinces. We evaluated the health services in Osmaniye, attended the Extended Provincial Advisory Council Meeting and visited the Samiye Bahçeli Community Mental Health Center. Osmaniye is truly a very valuable province of Çukurova. Osmaniye has a large hospital, which we will use for our nation in terms of service, education and research. In addition, we will have a few additional investments. We will do our best to provide better health services in Osmaniye.” After the evaluation meeting, Minister of Health Memişoğlu met with the authorities and healthcare professionals at Osmaniye State Hospital and thanked all healthcare professionals for their devoted work.
